The Ministry of Urban Development & Others dated 16/11/2017 regarding installation of rainwater harvesting systems in all the schools and colleges (private or government) in NCT Delhi. NGT directs all the schools and colleges to install rainwater harvesting systems, if not already installed, within a period of two months from today at their own cost. Any institution which does not comply with these directions shall be liable to pay a environmental compensation of Rs.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of K.C Bhargava Vs Union of India & Others dated 12/09/2017 regarding the illegal and unauthorised construction in the 7.5 acres of land in the Central Ridge area. Laxmi Narayan Temple Trust had illegally occupied the 7.5 acres of the concerned land and constructed a road, parking lots, chabutara and other pucca construction within the Central Ridge area.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahesh Chandra Saxena Vs The Ministry of Urban Development & Others dated 16/01/2017 regarding rain water harvesting systems in Delhi. DJB and CGWA will conduct Joint Inspection of any five major government schools and five private major schools in Delhi and report if the rain water harvesting systems are in existence and are operational appropriately.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Rajeev Suri Vs. Ministry of Urban Development dated 28/05/2015 regarding ban on the work of redevelopment of the existing Central Government Housing project, Kidwai Nagar (East) New Delhi, particularly, on the work of digging deep basements in course of such redevelopment on the ground that such work causes damage to the environment within the meaning of Section 2(a) of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and virtually amounts to soil mining without obtaining necessary clearances.
