Inspection and action taken report regarding noise pollution caused from M/s. Tata Telecommunication transformers and AC exhausts located at No. 2, 5th cross, Geddalahally, KEP layout, Sanjayanagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The Tata Telecommunications Building was inspected by Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) on December 13, 2019 and it was noted that the building has an acoustic wall to the transformer room and also provided acoustic enclousure to all the 12 AC exhaust.

Goa State Pollution Control Board has been conducting ambient air monitoring at 18 fixed locations under NAMP. Of these 10 locations are in South Goa District and monitoring values shows that Vasco is moderately polluted and Ponda is also showing marginal higher values in month of April .

With reference to CPCB Head Office letter no A-21016/1/08-Mon/6039 dated September 2nd, 2019 Regional Directorate (Central), Central Pollution Control Board, Bhopal has conducted Ambient Air Quality monitoring in Bhopal city from 20.10.2019 to 04.11.2019 during Diwali for the parameters of PM10, PM2.5, SO2, NO2 and selected heavy metals in PM10

Like every year, CPCB has planned for air quality and noise level monitoring on selected pre-Deepawali day (21.10.2019) and on Deepawali day (27.10.2019) in Delhi. Ambient Noise was monitored at 16 locations (06 manual and 10 real-time noise monitoring). Ambient Air Quality was monitored at 37 operational Real-time monitoring stations.
