Measures sought to remove encroachments, provide parking lots and ease traffic congestion

Still cameras and close-circuit cameras would now capture every face entering the designated parking spaces in Guwahati. The decision to install modern gadgets has come in the wake of a series of subversive activities carried out by miscreants in parking lots of Ganeshguri, Maligaon, Athgaon and Kachari.

New Delhi: The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has finally started work on two multilevel parking sites in its area. According to NDMC officials, at least two basement levels have already been dug at the Baba Kharak Singh Marg and Sarojini Nagar sites while work will start at Kasturba Gandhi Marg after the Delhi Urban Art Commission gives its approval.

LUCKNOW: Even as the ongoing parking lot projects proposed by it move at a snail's pace, the Lucknow Development Authority has proposed four more sites where multi-level parking lots can be constructed in the new financial year.

The sites where the new parking lots would come up include: Kapoorthala, IT Crossing, Government Polytechnic Crossing and Latouche Road.

New Delhi: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has invited tenders for nine plots to build multi-level parking lots in the Capital.

New Delhi: More than one and a half years ago, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi laid the foundation stone for the Kamla Nagar multi-level parking. However, since then no work has been done at the site. The file of the parking plan has been doing rounds of various departments since one year. So far, even the tender has not yet been awarded.

The parking fee board placed by the Corporation on Shanmugham Road which comes under the PWD.
