Bhopal : With utmost attention of the state government to construction and upgradation of road communication Madhya Pradesh has witnessed a remarkable improvement in the road network over last four and half years. This has given a fillip to the development process besides making life of people more convenient.

JAMMU : Pradesh Janta Dal (Secular) expressed concern over the pending work of Bhadarwah-Chamba road despite the release of Rs 80 crores by the central government. As per a press release, its acting president Mast Nath Yogi alleged that since the announcement of the start of work on the said road, nothing so far has been done on the projects including the work on the Basholi road which is almost complete.

Close on the heels of sanctioning of the double laning of the Stilwell Road which connects Myanmar to India; the Centre has accorded top priority to another road project in Arunachal Pradesh which will connect Tawang near the China border at one end to Bogibeel in Dibrugarh district in Asom at the other, indicating the seriousness with which the Centre is pursueing its Look East policy to boost trade and economic ties with neighbouring South-east Asian countries.
