Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Lubna Sarwath Vs Govt. of Telangana dated 15/06/2021.

Restoration of Bum-Rukn-ud-Dowla a historic heritage water body of around 104 acres, opposite National Police Academy, Shivrampally, Hyderabad, is the question for consideration. On receiving a complaint that water body was being destroyed by dumping of waste and sewage and encroachment, NGT vide order, September 10, 2018 directed the Urban Development Department of Telangana and the Telangana State Pollution Control Board to look into the matter.

Joint Committee report in the matter of Dr. Lubna Sarwath Vs State of Telangana & Others dated 09/06/2021 regarding measures taken for mitigating pollution in Hussain Sagar lake.

The Joint Committee has requested the NGT to issue directions to the concerned departments for submitting a time bound action plan to comply with the recommendations of the committee to improve the water quality of the Hussain Sagar lake.

Report on behalf of Telangana State Pollution Control Board in the matter of Lubna Sarwath Vs Government of Telangana dated 22/03/2021. The NGT had taken Suo Motu of the mails sent by Dr. Lubna Sarwath, an NGO organisation on Bum-Rukn-Ud-Dowla lake pollution.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of K. Vijayakumar, Madhavi Farms Vs State of Karnataka dated 15/03/2021.

The issue for consideration was remedial measures against degradation of Bhujangadasanahalli lake in Anekal taluk, Bangalore South.

Affidavit by the state of Karnataka in the matter of Court on its own motion Vs State of Karnaraka on Bellandur and Varthur lake.

Sarakki 5 MLD STP, Chikkabeguru 5 MLD STP, Hulimavu 10 MLD STP, Agram 35 MLD STP have been completed and commissioned. While Madivala 4 MLD STP, K&C Valley 150 MLD STP, 210 MLD capacity ISPS at Koramangala were in the process of being completed.

Report/submissions on behalf of Kolhapur Municipal Corporation in the matter of Dr. Balakrishna A. Shelar Vs State of Maharashtra dated 24/02/2021.

The NGT in its order of July 16, 2020 directed the Irrigation Department to complete the process of demarcation of the red and blue line expeditiously. The court also directed the KMC and the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board to take necessary steps for preventing discharge of untreated effluents and sewage into the Panchganga river.

Action taken report on behalf of Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad and the Haryana State Pollution Control Board in compliance with the National Green Tribunal order September 3, 2020. The matter related to failure in taking remedial action against collected garbage and sewage on the bank of Uttar Pradesh-Agra canal resulting in damage to the environment.
