SHILLONG, Nov 20: The city will witness innovative practice in waste management by heralding a new technology as the process is to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Creative Company Ltd and Eco-Recycle Port of Hiroshima, a Japan-based company that specialises in the treatment of solid waste and conversion into usable fuel, informed Urban Affairs Minister Paul Lyngdoh.

Creative Eco-Recycle Port Ltd, Japan in association with ASSOCHAM has pledged investments to the tune of Rs 100 crore in Meghalaya.
