THRISSUR: Laloor Malineekarana Virudha Samara Samiti has threatened to launch direct action to stop the construction of the secured landfill at the municipal solid waste treatment plant at Laloor in the town, if the Corporation does not stop the construction immediately.

A raiding team found boxes containing used medicine bottles with their cartons that were supplied by a scap dealer to these companies.
