Counsel for Central Ground Water Board submits that they have by now inspected around 1000 units out of which 42 units were found illegally extracting ground water and the same has been sealed.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Giriraj Parikrama Sanrakshan Sansthan Vs State of Rajasthan & Others dated 23/10/2019 regarding discharge of sewage from the houses in the vicinity of Mansi Ganga Kund, Govardhan, Uttar Pradesh.The counsel for state of Uttar Pradesh has informed the Tribunal that the entire discharge of sewage from the houses in that area have been connected with a system leading to the sewage treatment plant (STP) which is functional near Radha Kund.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Gram Panchayat ARABA Vs State of Rajasthan & Others dated 17/05/2019 regarding pollution by industries in Jodhpur city along Jojari river. It has come to the notice of the NGT that inspite of repeated directions, the CETP have not treated or fully treating the effluent and the same is discharged in river/storm water drain/open places. This practice has been continued by the industries and the treatment plants continuously except for a period of short intervals.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Gram Panchayat ARABA Vs State of Rajasthan & Others dated 22/04/2019 regarding pollution by industries in Jodhpur city along Jojari river. It has come to the notice of the Tribunal that untreated water is still being discharged into the river and the CETP is not treating the effluent and the same is being allowed to flow into the river.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Kishan Paryavaran Sangaharsh Samiti, Jaipur Vs State of Rajasthan & Others dated 27/03/2019 regarding environmental compensation to be paid by industries in Pali, Rajasthan. The Pali Water Pollution Control Treatment & Research Foundation has requested for relaxation of time frame for depositing the amount of Rs. One Crore with CPCB within one month. It has been submitted that an amount of Rs. 50 lakhs has already been deposited.
