The matter related to running of illegal acid and chemical factories without license as well as burning of e-waste in the open in the area of village Chivra, PS Dholana, district Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. Complaints were also given to the local police in this regard but no action has been taken so far.
The NGT directed that a Joint Committee would ascertain the factual position in the matter and file its report before the NGT.
