Report by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB), Lucknow in compliance of the NGT order of October 22, 2019 (O.A. No. 835/2019) in the matter of RTI Activist Vs State of Uttar Pradesh. The NGT had directed the UPPCB to look into the operation of M/s Amroon Foods Pvt. Ltd. located at Agasan Road, Kursi, Barabanki. The unit was inspected on December 5, 2019.

Compliance report in O.A. No. 160/2019 in the matter of Ranjeet Singh Vs State of Uttar Pradesh dated 20/01/2020. The matter related to M/s Awadh Sugar & Energy Ltd, Hata, Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh not following environmental norms. During inspection by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB), hazardous waste like oil and oily sludge recovered from ETP was burned along with baggasse as a fuel in boilers. Also, there was no storage option for oil/oily sludge.

The report was in pursuance of the National Green Tribunal order of September 20, 2019 which directed the UPPCB into the matter of environmental non-compliance by M/s Malik Beverage, Malik Tola, Sagdi, Azamgarh.

Inspection report on status of water quality on Noida drain as per National Green Tribunal order dated 30/07/2019 in Original Application No 1002/2018 in the matter of Abhisht Kusum Gupta Vs State of Uttar Pradesh uploaded on 24/02/2020. The Committee was directed to measure the faecal coliform content in the water samples which was a relevant factor for determining the water pollution.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Shah Alam Vs State of Uttar Pradesh dated 01/11/2019 regarding violation of environmental norms by M/s Jublient Group of Industries at Gajraula, District Amroha, Uttr Pradesh, affecting the health of the inhabitants.

A joint Committee of the CPCB, Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB), Health Department - District Administration, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam, Horticulture Department and the Krishi Vigyan Kendra - Amroha have submitted report dated September 13, 2019.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Lav Kumar Gupta Vs State of Uttar Pradesh dated 30/10/2019 regarding illegal operation of ewaste kilns in the streets and open places on the road from Muradabad to Lal Bagh near Rani Kishori, Uttar Pradesh. Reference is also been made in news report in ‘Hindustan’ dated 28.05.2019. The activities are causing health hazards to the inhabitants.
