A Division Bench of the Calcutta High Court on Thursday extended a stay on the distribution of land at Singur.

The West Bengal Government on Wednesday assured a Division Bench of the Calcutta High Court that land distribution at Singur would not begin before Thursday.

A division bench of justices Pinaki Chandra Ghose and Mrinal Kanti Chaudhuri passed the order granting continuation of the stay till disposal of the appeal.
