THENI: The Agriculture Graduate Officials Association has demanded the government to immediately implement the Tamil Nadu State Agriculture Council Act in the State.

Farmers demand release of water for irrigation
THENI: Storage level in the Periyar dam crossed the minimum required level 112 feet to enable public works engineers to release water for irrigation here on Tuesday evening.

Water level stood at 112.5 feet on Tuesday, thanks to a massive increase in inflow to the dam and intermittent showers for the past three days.
