Monsoon is displaying signs of weakening in Madhya Pradesh even while some parts of the state received heavy rainfall today.

This project is being proposed by the authors for the abatement of pollution of sacred waters of river Shipra, surrounding nearly three fourth of Ujjain the town of Madhya Pradesh, as an integrated approach for fruitful solution for abatement of pollution of the river Shipra.

Ujjain: About six lakh saplings will be sold through a mobile van and later planted this year as part of the greenery drive under the 'Aao Banay Apna Madhya Pradesh' campaign in the district.

The Chief Minister's drinking water scheme will soon be implemented in all villages with a population of 1000 and 500 for making available drinking water in these villages. Priority will be given to villages of predominantly populated by scheduled caste and scheduled tribe while implementing this scheme.

Madhya Pradesh State Biodiversity Board is planning to establish biodiversity parks six districts of the State, with the aim for generating awareness among the public for significance and conservation of biodiversity. Proposals are also awaited for other districts of the State for establishing similar parks.

Horticulture, irrigation and land development works have been undertaken in 62.5 lakh hectare private lands of reserved and backward class people in the state under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.

Indore: Minister of State for Narmada Valley Development KL Agrawal today instpected the forests of proposed Onkareshwar National Park. He said that the proposed National Park to come up in Narmada Valley would be unique due to its special position of water on one side.

Tribal Welfare Minister and incharge minister of Ujjain district Kunwar Vijay Shah has said that wheat should not be allowed to be sold at less the support price in the district at any cost. He said that the state government has decided to procure wheat by giving Rs 100 per quintal bonus over the support price.

The State Government have allotted an amount of Rs 363.23 lakh for drinking water transportation in twelve districts.
