Sugar will not be that sweet this year as its production is likely to fall because cane-growers are diverting cane from sugar mills to khandsari units in the wake of their pending cane dues.

Pillu Singh was killed by the tiger, which Forest officials suspect, strayed from the nearby Kishanpur Sanctuary.
