Hyderabad, Sept 26: According to data from the government, seasonal ailments, especially viral diseases, are still widely prevalent in the twin cities; so far, 2,298 fever cases have been reported in September alone.

Vijayawada, Sept. 21: Viral fever cases crossed the one-lakh mark in Krishna district this season.

An outbreak of viral fever in over nine VDCs in Gulmi district has claimed three lives while scores have taken ill in the past one week.

Sept. 9: Viral fevers, malaria and dengue cases are unabated in different parts of Krishna district duriong the past one month. At least 50 people lost their lives due to seasonal diseases. Most cases were reported from Nuzvid, Vijayawada, Tiruvuru, Nandigama, Vissannapeta, Gudivada, Mylavaram, Vuyyur and Kankipadu mandals.

Hundreds of people have been taken ill due to viral fever and typhoid spreading in Parbat, Baglung and Myagdi districts for the last two weeks.

The Parbat District Public Health Office and other health centres are struggling to cope with the number of patients.

khammam, Aug. 18: Viral fevers have been spreading in the Agency mandals across the district over the past week.

The fevers claimed eight lives in four mandals. At least, 30 people are suffering from fevers. Dengue and malaria arer spreading rapidly in Wazed, Dummugudem, Burgampadu and Aswapuram mandals.

Vijayawada, Aug. 11: The district collector, Mr Peeyush Kumar, on Wednesday instructed the medical and health, municipal and panchayat officials to take preventive measures to check seasonal diseases, most importantly malaria and viral fevers in the district during this monsoon.
