Status report on bio-remediation of Bhalswa, Gazipur and Okhla dumpsites of Delhi in the matter of O.A. No. 519 of 2019 dated 31/01/2020. The report was in pursuance to the National Green Tribunal (NGT) order of December 19, 2019.

The report contained minutes of meeting on bio mining process of legacy waste in states with municipalities along with inspection report for legacy waste dumpsites at Ghazipur, Okhla, Bhalswa. CPCB officials inspected dumpsites with reference to bio remediation in Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu during September - October 2019.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of In Re: Report received from State Level Monitoring Committee, Kerala, constituted by this Tribunal vide order dated 16.01.2019 in O.A. No. 606/2018, headed by Justice A.V.R Pillai, former Judge of Kerala High Court, to oversee compliance of directions on the subject of Solid Waste Management dated 24/01/2020 regarding unscientific dumping of waste in violation of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 (SWM Rules, 2016) causing huge pollution at Bharampuram solid waste processing plant on the outskirts of Kochi city.

Final report by the oversight committee in compliance of the directions of the National Green Tribunal (18/07/2019, 05/08/2019, 19/11/2019).
