Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M/s Kissan Sehakari Chini Mill Ltd. Vs. Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board & Others dated 10/02/2016 regarding pollution caused by Kissan Sehakari Chini Mill, Uttar Pradesh.

Counsel appearing for the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board submits that the industry has been inspected and found to be compliant and non polluting. However certain precautionary measures required to be taken by them.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sumitra Devi Vs. CPCB & Ors. dated 09/02/2016 regarding groundwater pollution by the discharge of industrial effluent in Haryana by the state of Rajasthan.

NGT directed the Chief Secretary of the State of Rajasthan to file personal affidavit to show cause why it should not be directed closure of all the industries in Bhiwadi.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of ANG Industries Ltd. Vs. Uttarakhand Environment Protection Pollution Control Board dated 09/02/2016 regarding pollution caused by ANG Industries Ltd., Uttarakhand.

As the unit by itself has taken anti-pollution devices and would become compliant and non-polluting industry, Tribunal permits the industry to operate for a period of three weeks w.e.f. 11th February, 2016. A joint inspection team shall conduct inspection of the industry and submit its report to Court.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M.C. Mehta Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 09/02/2016 regarding Ganga river pollution.

NGT ordered a team of experts to constituted and submit a report to the Tribunal on the actual discharge from each major drain that joins river Ganga in the section from Haridwar to Kanpur and also measure the load of sewage at the point of STPs and the point where STPs are sought to be constructed.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Manoj Kumar Misra & Anr. Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 09/02/2016 regarding pollution of river Yamuna.

The Tribunal came down heavily on Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and said in its order that " DJB has spent thousands and thousands of Crores of rupees on sewage and establishment of STPs but the resultant pollution of River Yamuna continues and does not require anything more to be said that it has gone from bad to worse".

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vardhaman Kaushik Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 05/2/2016 regarding vintage car rally in Delhi.

Counsel appearing for Madan Mohan submits that the preparations for the event have been made and nearly 10 vehicles from abroad and other vehicles from various parts of the country have already arrived. He further states that the event is going to be held only for 3 hours when the vehicles will run from Red Fort to Greater Noida.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahesh Dubey Vs. Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board & Ors dated 03/02/2016 regarding hospital waste disposal in Chhattisgarh.

The Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board as well as Commissioner of the Health Department submit that they would ensure that complete information about the queries raised by the Tribunal in its Order and in the proceedings including disposal of liquid waste by the hospitals will be placed before the Tribunal within two weeks from today.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Krishan Kant Singh V/s. Upper India Tannery dated 03/02/2016 regarding pollution caused by Upper India Tannery, Uttar Pradesh.

NGT permits the unit to operate for a period of two weeks commencing from 08th February, 2016. A joint inspection team along with a representative of IIT Kanpur will conduct the inspection of the unit and prepare videographing of the entire inspection to be submitted to the Tribunal along with the analysis reports.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Gujarat Tanners, Jajmau, Kanpur Vs. Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board dated 01/02/2016 regarding pollution caused by Gujarat Tanners, Jajmau, Kanpur.

The joint inspection report has clearly shown that the Applicant industry is a polluting industry as its chromium was found to be 9.47 as opposed to the prescribed value of 2.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Shamsunder Shridhar Dalvi & Ors. Vs. Govt. Of India & Ors. dated 01/02/2016 regarding buildings within 100 ms of the high tide line from Dona Paula Cove/Bay to Vainguinium Beach, Village Taleigao, Goa.

The Advocate General appearing for the State of Goa submits that Ministry of Environment & Forest, & CC has already engaged agency to demarcate 100 meter coastal line in the entire State of Goa upto State of Karnataka.
