Mumbai: With the new Bharat Stage IV emission norms coming into effect from yesterday, oil companies are gearing up to meet the requirements of Mumbai, an official said today.

The metropolis requires more than 800-lakh litres of fuel every month and three oil companies will supply both petrol and diesel through their existing 243 outlets.
