Mumbai: Statistics provided by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) health department shows a considerable rise in deaths related to water-borne ailments and gastroenteritis. As many as 49 waterborne fever-related deaths and eight gastroenteritis deaths were reported this monsoon.
