M/s Sintex Power Limited (SPL) proposes to set up 1720 MW (2x660 MW coal based + 1x400 MW Gas based) Power Plant near Lunsapur, Mithapur and Kagvadar villages, taluka Jafrabad, district Amreli, Gujarat. Terms of Reference for EIA study of the proposed project was prescribed by the Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF) vide letter No.J-13012/164/2010/IA.II (T) dated 30-3-2011. Draft Environmental Impact Assessment Report has been prepared by NABET Accredited EIA Consultant, M/s EMTRC Consultants Private Limited. for Public Hearing. National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) has conducted the Marine EIA Study and Demarcation of High Tide Line, Low Tide Line and CRZ boundary. Comments obtained during the public hearing will be included in the final EIA report.
