The study focuses on the context of the scope of different strategies for carbon emission reduction from existing and new R&D technologies in the residential and commercial building sector of the developing countries. In order to do that it highlights the range of technologies and goods which could be applied in the residential and commercial building sector for reduction of carbon emissions.
In the short run, India is not going to benefit from the free trade agreement with the Association of South-East Asian Nations that was finalised recently. ASEAN is not a natural trading partner of India, and, unlike China, India has not established close relations with the region.
