This booklet is the second in the series on small and marginal farmers in India and presents the advantages of agroecological practices.

Focus on the Global South, with the support of the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (RLS), has started a collaborative programme to bring out educational materials and other publications focusing on the small and marginal farmers.

The initial sections underscore that the bias in fisheries policies towards an export led model has been at the cost of the environment and fishing communities, especially women.
The authors then argue, by scrutinising key provisions, that the EU-India FTA further deepens this model and therefore is unlikely to ameliorate their condition.
