Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of D.K. Joshi Vs. Union of India & Others dated 08/09/2016 regarding disposal of untreated sewage directly into river Yamuna by builders and colonisers, Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The Local Commissioner has pointed out that nearly 100 MLD untreated sewage is being directly pumped in to the river. The Counsel appearing for Nagar Nigam as well as Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam shall file clear affidavit as to how 100 MLD of sewage is directly being pumped into the river which is untreated and the remedial measures that can be taken in that behalf.
