Wave City at Ghaziabad and High Tech City at Noida by Real Estate Developers was allegedly extracting groundwater and violating environmental norms, according to an application filed before the NGT by Mahkar Singh.

Report by Central Groundwater Authority (CGWA) in OA No. 685 of 2019 in the matter of Rakesh Kumar Vs GNCTD in compliance of National Green Tribunal order of May 15, 2020. The report deals with remedial action against falling groundwater levels in the NCT of Delhi. The NGT had directed for devising suitable effective mechanisms for preventing extraction of groundwater by way of unauthorized tubewells and wherever such illegalities are found, prompt coercive measures should be taken.

Central Pollution Control Board (Regional Directorate, Lucknow) report on the site visit to M/s Speciality Industries Polymers & Coating Pvt Ltd, SIDCUL, Sitarganj, Uttarakhand. 

The unit is engaged in production of polymer emulsion. The unit was visited on January 28, 2020 in reference to the National Green Tribunal order of December 3, 2019 in the matter of O.A. No. 123/2018 by joint team of officials from regional directorate, CPCB, Lucknow and Regional Office, Uttarakhand Environment Protection & Pollution Control Board (UEPPCB), Kashipur.

Action taken report in the matter of Vikrant Tongad Vs Union of India & Others in Original Application No. 25 of 2020 dated February 25, 2020. A team of assigned officers of CPCB, UPPCB, CGWA, Noida Authority, UP Jal Nigam authorized by District Magistrate inspected Noida Golf Course (NGC), Sector-43 in Noida to assess the situation of groundwater.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Jagtar Singh Vs State of Punjab & Others dated 14/02/2020 regarding absence of adequate safeguards for preventing extraction of ground water for commercial purposes, including construction of buildings, in violation of regulatory regime laid down or expected to be laid down by the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA).
