COIMBATORE: Wealth out of Waste, a project under which paper waste and plastic bags are bought from houses and shops, began in Mettupalayam Municipality in the district on Thursday.

COIMBATORE: The Coimbatore Corporation plans to turn nearly 200 public toilets smell-free, including those in the integrated sanitary complexes constructed in areas where the below poverty line families live.

Ozone sterilisers will be installed in the toilets to rid these of smell.
