The West Bengal Pollution control Board, has prayed for an order approving the proposed compressive plan for utilisation of the money deposited as penalty with the State Board. It is alleged that out of 224.02 acres of land transferred to the University for the purpose by the Govt., most of it falls on the river bed and flood plains of Mahananda river. NGT directs notice to be issued to the Respondents.
