The second instalment to the tune of Rs 50 lakh has been released to parched Indore. On April 8 last, the first instalment of Rs 50 lakh was released. In this way, Rs 1 crore has been made available to Indore collector for ensuring drinking water arrangements in the district during the summer.

The state government has sanctioned an amount of Rs 1.54 crore for this purpose. The amount would be allotted to the concerning collectors in two instalments.
