The Government of Goa on 13th October 2022, has notified the Goa Industrial Growth and Investment Promotion Policy, 2022, in order to create an environment of Trust and Collaboration between the State and Industry by bringing in transparency and predictability to achieve the shared goals of prosperity and sustainable development for all.

The Department of Urban Development, Goa on 19th May 2022, has published the Model Goa Municipal Plastic Waste Management Byelaws, 2022 which shall apply to every waste generator, manufacturer, producer, importer and brand owner operating within the jurisdiction of the council in the State of Goa.

Goa government launches ‘Goa Electric Mobility Promotion Policy 2021’ to boost the adoption of electric vehicles to 30% by 2025. This is a 5 years electric mobility policy that will create 10000 job opportunities in the state. All the diesel marine vehicles will also be upgraded to solar and electric vehicles.
