After a three-month gap, swine flu resurfaced in Madhya Pradesh and has claimed three lives this month, a top Health Department official said on Wednesday.

Twenty-two positive cases of H1N1 virus have also been reported in the state.

"Two persons in Jabalpur and one in Indore died of swine flu this month and 22 others were suffering from this disease," Health Department Joint Director B M Ch

Sufficient arrangements have been made in the state for prevention, control and treatment of Swine Flue. Swine Flu is fully under control and the situation is being watched daily. The Central Government has consented for setting up of International Millet and Wheat Research Centre at Khamaria near Jabalpur. This Research Centre will be set up with cooperation of Mexico. Here research will be conducted for producing hybrid quality seeds of Millets and Wheat.

The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan met the Union
Agriculture Minister Shri Sharad Pawar and urged him to take initiative for
setting up of international wheat and maize research centre at Jabalpur. Minister for Animal Husbandry Shri

Shri Chouhan said that 200 acre land would be provided free
of cost near Jabalpur
for the research centre.

The Central Government will consider to including Bhopal, Jabalpur and Rewa under solar energy programme. The Central Government has already selected 60 cities in the country and Gwalior and Indore are included among them.
