KATHMANDU: There have been some praiseworthy achievements so far when it comes to making various districts an open defecation free zone.

The residents of Kalikot have not seen electricity for the last one year after the hydropower project in the district was swept by floods.

Local residents of Furkot VDC in Ramkot area have constructed drinking water project on their own when drinking water has been a serious problem in other parts of the district.
