Shimla: The Cabinet today decided to give the 420 MW Reoli Dugli hydro power project, allotted earlier to Moser Baer Projects Ltd in Lahaul-Spiti, to Larsen and Toubro.The decision was taken at a meeting of the Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister PK Dhumal here today. The Cabinet decided to allot the project to L&T as it had agreed to match the H1 highest bid.
With passage of the nuclear liability Bill, the heavy engineering supply chain, led by Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Bharat Forge Ltd (BFL), is gearing to take up the challenge ahead.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has proposed to set up a thermal power plant in Jharkhand, reports Navtan Kumar from Ranchi. Raghubar Das, deputy chief minister, who also happens to be in charge of the energy ministry, said a high level team of L&T officials met him this week in this regard.
