KORBA (CHHATTISGARH): At least 20 labourers were killed and nearly 70 are feared trapped under debris after a chimney at an under-construction thermal power plant of the Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO) caved in here on Wednesday.

Two out of the 13 mines that were asked to suspend operations have obtained the necessary forest clearances as laid down by the Goa State Pollution Control Board, which will issue revocation orders to these firms soon.
