Chandigarh: Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh has issued chargesheet to Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Harsh Kumar for permitting illegal felling of trees last year in Mohali district.

Dengue cases in Mohali district have reached a record high this year. As many as 2,253 cases have been reported so far, the highest in the past eight years.

493 from Mohali city, followed by 316 from different villages in the district and 173 from Nayagaon. The health department had collected the samples of 1,880 suspected persons.

5 deaths reported; Mohali with 476 cases tops the chart
