The revenue officer of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) seems to be not serious about collection of revenue. Due to his indifference the BMC is losing lakhs of rupees. The paid parking of vehicles is an important source of income to the BMC. In spite of this the BMC is not serious about the collection. In the financial year 2009-2010 contract for paid parking of only ten places was given.
