A fresh earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter Scale jolted Myagdi on Sunday noon, according to the National Seismological Centre. The earthquake occurred at 12:41 pm.

The existence of the wildlife is in danger, as deforestation is rampant in the upper belt in Myagdi district. A large number of trees have been fallen for medicinal herbs and other resources.

More than 90 per cent households in Myagdi district have now access to pure drinking water facilities.

As many as six new drinking water projects have been constructed in Myagdi district in the fiscal year 2013/14.
