Trees are allegedly being felled in the forests in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh district and processed at sawmills located nearby.

People of 45 districts are at risk of contracting kala-azar as the fly-borne disease breaks out in different parts of country in recent times, a study report said.

MYMENSINGH: A total of 46 bridges and culverts at a cost of over Tk9 crore were constructed in different upazilas of the district in the last fiscal year.
