GANDHINAGAR: The wait for Narmada water has got longer for thousands of villages in Gujarat with the construction of branch, sub-branch and distribution canals further being delayed.

GANDHINAGAR: The Gujarat government on Tuesday admitted in the state Assembly that the Narmada project will take five more years to complete as against the current plan to finish it by the golden jubilee celebrations in 2010.
