New Delhi: ONGC plans to invest over $10 billion to develop its new gas field in the KG basin for production. ONGC aims to develop the KG basin through four different projects.

The Punjab government has allotted the biggest thermal power plant being set up in Gidderbaha to National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC).

Minister of State for Energy (Independent Charge) Rajendra Shukla inspected the 1200 MW Singaji Thermal Power Project under construction in Khandwa district today. After the inspection the minister convened a meeting of the concerned officers and representatives of the construction agencies.

Rajendra Shukla said that power production is the topmost priority of the state government.
