NEW DELHI: The Rs.1,500-crore project to trap pollutants at 18 major drains falling into the Yamuna that was flagged off in the Capital this past Sunday has failed to impress activists fighting to save the river.

The project will ensure that the sewage from various drains that fall directly into the Yamuna, is diverted to the STPs where it will be treated first and then allowed to reach the river.
