NEW DELHI: Delhi's air quality was recorded in the "poor" category on Sunday despite an "unusual improvement" due to increased wind speed, favourable for dispersion of pollutants, authorities said.
System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR) said the coming 10 days are expected to see a sharp deterioration of air quality in Delhi-NCR.
The quality of air in the national Capital has deteriorated once again with pollution level going up after witnessing a few days of ‘good’ air quality.
The Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 159, over four times more than last Tuesday, according to the Centre's System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research Institute (SAFAR).
