The report by the Director, Town and Country Planning Department stated that illegal construction could not be demolished as the matter was pending before the Additional District Judge, Shimla.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Westend Green Farms Society Vs Union of India & Others dated 08/07/2019 regarding restaurants/hotels/motels/banquets illegally operating in Mahipalpur and Rajokri, Delhi. Violation of law on the subjects of waste management, discharge of effluents, illegal ground water extraction, ground water contamination, emission by illegally operating diesel generators, absence of statutory consents under the Water Act 1974, Air Act 1981 and violation of conditions of consent was found.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Deepak Datta Vs Govt. of NCT of Delhi dated 21/05/2019 regarding illegal running of banquet halls in Punjabi Bagh, Delhi. Report submitted by a Joint Committee comprising of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), the District Magistrate, Punjabi Bagh and the North Delhi Municipal Corporation states that only eight banquet halls were inspected, though there are many others in the area. They could not produce building plans/maps. None of them have authorized parking arrangement.

Chunsali is a place at the bank of the river Brahmaputra, Guwahati which is ecologically fragile and sensitive which requires protection.
