Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board & Others dated 22/09/2017 regarding blockage of storm water drains in Vasundhra, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The Applicant has produced photographs to show that the drain is still blocked and demolishing of illegal structures has not been completed. Tribunal grants one weeks time to Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam to clean all the drains in the Vasundhara township.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Uma Shankar Patwa & Anr. Vs. Union of India & Ors. (Earlier titled as D.K. Joshi Vs. Union of India & Ors.) dated 29/08/2017 regarding constructions on Yamuna floodplains, Agra, Uttar Pradesh. NGT directs demolition of structures falling within 100 meters of the high flood line already demarcated and the projects which are stated to be outside the high flood line would be allowed to complete their constructions subject to compliance of directions.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rakesh Kumar Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 13/07/2017 regarding unauthorized constructions in a park in Block-G, Sector-44, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Applicant has also requested for removal of all broken stones/mulba dumped by Noida Authority and to maintain the green belt for the benefit of all the residents of the Sector.

The Court noted that River Karamana originates from Agastyar- Koodam of Western Ghats and join the Arabian Sea after flowing 68 km.
