The matter related to violation of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 and dumping of garbage in the road or open area at Udyog Vihar, Gurugram, Haryana. It was further submitted by the counsel appearing for the applicant that Eco Green Company and Municipal Corporation, Gurugram were not complying with the MSW Rules, 2016 and working in violation of the Rules.

These rules aim to ensure secure, accountable, and sustainable management of e-waste, specifically focusing on refrigerants generated during the manufacture and end-of-life of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.
