Mumbai: The 20-kilometre monorail route from Jacob Circle to Chembur via Wadala is set to take a toll on around 1,190 trees. Of the total trees, approximately 700 will be cut and some others will be transplanted. The remaining will be trimmed and sheared to make way for the high-end transport system.
