Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of News item titled "DDA ignores directions to remove official constructions on floodplain builds more" appearing in The Hindu dated 18.04.2024 and Other dated 21/01/2025.

The original application was registered suo motu based on the news item titled "DDA ignores directions to remove official constructions on floodplain, builds more" and “DDA flouts NGT’s guidelines, continues construction on crowded Yamuna floodplain in Delhi” published in The Hindu daily dated 18.04.2024 and 16.04.2024 respectively.

Order of the Supreme Court in the matter of M C Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 20/01/2025. The matter related to increase in vehicular pollution in the national capital region and the need for an effective public transport system. The apex court said it was deliberating setting norms granting permission for construction of apartments and that no apartments without a specified parking lot should be allowed to come up. The SC also wanted to know the plans by the government to make electric vehicles affordable.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Pavit Singh Vs NCT of Delhi & Others dated 17/01/2025.

Action taken report on behalf of MCD in OA No 250 of 2024 (Sudesh Prakash Sabberwal Vs. Union of India & Others). The report was in response to the NGT order, October 14, 2024.

The application was filed by the applicant with the grievance regarding removal of dhalao/garbage dump situated about 30 meter away from gate number 6 of AIIMS, New Delhi and is a major source of air pollution

Status report on behalf of MCD in the matter of news item titled "Greater Kailash lesser comfort life amid foul air mosquitoes" appearing in the Times of India dated 22/04/2024.

In the original application, registered suo motu, the tribunal is examining the issue of emitting intolerable stench from a drain running along side a park in South Delhi's Greater Kailash I attracting swarms of mosquitoes.

Inspite of repeated communications by the  Irrigation and Flood Control Department, Delhi, no action was taken by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to prevent throwing of muck in the drain in the Rajendra Nagar Extension area of Delhi. Inspite of service of notice, no one was present on behalf of Municipal Corporation of Delhi and District Magistrate, West Delhi.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahavir Singh Vs Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi & Others dated 24/12/2024.

In the application, the applicant being a resident of village Neelwal, Tikri Kalan, Delhi has raised a grievance against the illegal dumping and burning of plastic waste in violation of the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016. The applicant has also raised a grievance in respect of non-compliance of various provisions of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.
