The NGT, February 23, 2022 had directed that the defects pointed out in the joint committee report in the running of Poultry Market and M/s Delhi Food Processing Complex (Meat) be removed. Further, one of the well/hand pump in the poultry market of DAMB is highly contaminated and concerned authorities need to survey the area and take measures.

Action taken report on behalf of DPCC in the matter of Raj Kumar Vs Union of India in compliance to the National Green Tribunal (NGT) order, 08/12/2021.

The NGT, July 23, 2021 directed the SDM, Najafgarh to remove encroachment, if any and keep the pond, measuring 4 bighas, improve its cleanliness and eventually develop the water body into a reservoir. The NGT also directed the constitution of a committee to monitor the progress of renewal of the johad in Issapur village. The committee visited the site, November 29, 2021.

Judgment of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Nand Kumar Vs Govt. of NCT of Delhi dated 25/02/2022.

The matter related to illegal and unauthorized abstraction of ground water. The Tribunal, November 1, 2019 constituted a joint committee comprising Deputy Commissioner, South and Delhi Jal Board to look into the matter and take appropriate action in accordance with law and furnish a factual and action taken report. A report, August 16, 2020 informed that out of a total of 131 illegal bore wells, 109 were sealed.

Judgment of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Abdul Farukh Vs Government of NCT of Delhi dated 25/02/2022. The matter related to misuse of a Delhi Jal Board borewell in village Chandanhulla by private tankers. The borewell is being used for commercial supply of water.
