Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Compliance of Municipal Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 (State of Tamil Nadu) dated 23/04/2019 regarding solid waste management and allied issues in Tamil Nadu. A compliance report was submitted by Tamil Nadu indicating the steps taken for solid waste management, Plastic Waste Management Rules 2016, Bio-medical Waste Management Rules 2016, polluted river stretches, polluted industrial clusters, air polluted cities and illegal mining. According to the report wet waste is collected on daily basis in the State.
