Order of the National Green Tribunal in the Vivek Kamboj & Others Vs Union of India & Others dated 14/03/2019. The issue for consideration is the remedial measures against contamination of ground water on account of leachate discharge adversely affecting the inhabitants and failure to comply with solid waste management norms, including burning of waste. Foul smell emitted by the garbage dumped is affecting the air quality.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Shailesh Singh Vs Sheela Hospital & Trauma Centre, Shahjhanpur & Others dated 12/03/2019. The issue raised in these applications is non - compliance of the provisions of Bio-medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 (BMW Rules). The applicant has also annexed photographs of dumping of biomedical waste along with general solid waste at Sheela Hospital, Shahjahanpur, Dr. Wasim Hospital, Shahjahanpur and Govt. District Hospital, Shahjahanpur.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Court on its own Motion Vs Ministry of Environment and Forests & Climate Change & Others dated 11/03/2019 regarding pollution being caused in Kosi River in Rampur District in Uttar Pradesh by industrial activities. A report filed by CPCB says that the water quality is as per bathing standards upto Kosi barrage, Uttrakhand. The water quality deteriorates after confluence of the river Bhella in Muradabad and becomes highly polluted at Rampur where Rampur drain joins the river.
