State-owned power generating company Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd (KPCL) and Larsen & Toubro today signed a joint venture agreement for the 1,600 MW (2X800 MW) coal-based thermal power project at Godhna in Chhattisgarh.

The Government of Karnataka has signed a joint venture agreement with Larsen and Toubro for establishing a 1600 MW (800x2) power plant in Chattisgarh.
