GUWAHATI, June 25: A total of 105 people in five districts of the State have been affected by floods. These districts are Lakhimpur, Darrang, Sonitpur, Kamrup and Udalguri.

GUWAHATI, June 24: Incessant rains in the last few days have resulted in flood in the State’s four districts – Lakimpur, Darrang, Sonitpur and Udalguri – affecting about 24,393 people.

GUWAHATI: There are 731 brick kilns across the State. According to the Pollution Control Board (PCB), Assam till December 2012, 193 out of the 731 brick kilns were operating illegally and flouting environmental regulations.
